Our Story

After our first trip to Morocco, we dreamt of settling in Marrakech. Ten years later, we decided to sell our Parisian apartment to buy Riad Houdou, which we fell in love with. Located in the authentic neighborhood of Moukef, our guesthouse offers the opportunity to discover the daily life of Marrakech while enjoying the tranquility of a traditional riad. Houdou means serenity in Arabic. After six months of major renovations, we reopened the riad to the public and have been expanding and improving it over the years. Despite its current status as a boutique hotel, it still maintains the personal touch and warmth of a guesthouse through the personalized hospitality we offer our guests. Our availability and attention to detail are greatly appreciated by our guests.
